Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights


Our quotations are based on the following terms and conditions

    
All prices quoted are subject to the addition of Value Added Tax @ standard rate.

No allowance has made within our quotation for a customer discount and the paying client is not to withhold a retention amount for the works, unless otherwise previously agreed.

In the unlikely event that Public Utilities underground cables, pipework and ducting are not at statutory depths and within our construction works, the lowering of this equipment will have to be undertaken by your local Public Utilities Company.

Our quotation is based upon carrying out the work continuously during normal working hours and no allowance has been made for weekend, restricted or other overtime working periods.

This quotation will remain firm for six weeks from today’s date and thereafter may be subject to any increase in labour, transport, plant and materials costs until an order is received.

All goods and materials on site remain the property of S.R. Newman (Contractors) Limited until payment has been made in full.

Payment terms are net cash for payment within 14 days of invoice, we reserve the right to add interest at the rate of 4% per month over and above the Bank of England lending rate on payments that exceed our terms of payment.
